Arrowhead by Ferrera Ventures
Innovation leadership. From within.
We get to know your organisation, its people and the work, then identify where AI could change something that matters to them. We lead the decisions, building and adoption, developing the team's ability to continue. Even while the path is new, someone takes responsibility for moving forward.
Make room for the possibilities in a working day.
Seeing what AI can do is one thing; finding its place in a busy working day takes more work. You need to choose where to begin, make room to try things and connect the tools with the people and systems already there.
Arrowhead holds that picture together and leads the progress. We work with management and the people doing the work so the change can become part of everyday practice.
How we work together
Begin with what needs to become clearer or move forward now. The engagement can grow with the work.
-
01
Map the opportunity
Sit with the people who know the work. Learn which systems they use, what happens outside those systems and where things get stuck. Use that understanding to find where AI can help and what to tackle first.
What you gainA practical picture of the organisation and clear priorities for what comes next.
-
02
Put the first solution to work
Choose a need we can define and build or adapt a solution. Try it with the people who will use it, see what helps and what still needs to change, and work towards bringing it into daily use.
What you gainA first solution tested with its users, with someone inside the organisation leading the next steps.
-
03
Provide ongoing leadership
Work as your innovation unit at an agreed level of involvement. Hold the roadmap, choose tools and lead building and adoption. Alongside the solutions, help people grow confident using and creating with AI.
What you gainLeadership that stays with the work over time, and people inside the organisation actively involved.
-
04
Build the ability to continue
Make the knowledge accessible and establish who carries the work forward. Organise documentation, access to deliverables and responsibilities. When permanent technology leadership is needed, help define the role and hand over the work.
What you gainA foundation for continuity, with access to deliverables, knowledge and defined ownership of the work.
What guides the work
The people doing the work have something to teach us.
People closest to the need help define and build the solution. What they know from everyday work helps us choose well and notice what is still missing.
Choose what will help.
Begin by looking at existing solutions. Where there is a good reason to build something specifically, define it and build accordingly.
Give people room to try.
Learn through their own work, at a pace that builds confidence. Find those who want and are able to go further, and equip them to build and lead.
Think about who comes after us.
Define access and responsibility, and keep documentation someone else can understand and use. Continuity begins during the work.
What stays inside the organisation

- People able to use the tools and keep developing.
- Documentation, access to deliverables and clear responsibilities.
Deliverables and scope depend on the agreed engagement.
You know the organisation. We get to work together.

Who it is for
Established organisations with deep knowledge and people who care about their work, looking to open new possibilities with AI. Education, nonprofits, media, industry, family businesses and public bodies. Especially where people already know what could work better and need someone to lead the way there.
Arrowhead is currently working within a national media organisation.
Questions worth asking
What does an engagement include?
Depending on the need: assessment and decisions, building or selecting solutions, implementation and training. We define scope and deliverables together and take part in delivery.
Do we need a technology team first?
You can start without one. Part of the work is understanding the capabilities already in the organisation, what is missing, and what to develop internally or bring in.
Who owns the deliverables?
Ownership, access and usage rights are defined in the engagement. We provide documentation and an orderly way to continue working with what is built. Third-party tools and components remain subject to their own licences.
Do you work with particular tools?
Tools are selected for the need, the existing systems and the ability of people to use the solution. The work can combine existing products, automations and custom development.
How do we start and how long does it take?
Begin with a conversation and a defined need. We then agree what to assess or build, who takes part and the timeframe. A focused implementation and ongoing innovation leadership have different scopes.
Who leads the work
Israel Ferrera leads the work personally, drawing on fifteen years in product, design and technology. He co-founded GoPerfect and led its product and design for five years. Each engagement brings in the people and skills it needs.
